Supply Lists
General everyday essential supplies needed for all subject areas:
- 6 packages of 100 sheets of loose-leaf ruled paper
- Five 1” binders or Two large zippered binders
- Four duo-tangs
- Two Hilroy-type scribblers
- Two packages of subject dividers
- USB memory stick – 8 GB minimum
- Scientific Calculator – cell phones are not permitted to be used as a calculator on assessments
- Pencil case containing pens (blue, black & red), pencils, white erasers, highlighters, correction tape and a glue stick
- Scissors
- Scotch tape
- Pencil crayons & markers
- One set of headphones or earbuds
- One box of Kleenex (to be left with the homeroom teacher)
- Sticky notes – various sizes
Supplies for specific subject areas:
- Math – 50 sheets of graph paper, protractor, 30 cm ruler
- Art – Sketchbook (coiled and unruled), 2 fine point black sharpies
- Physical Education – Indoor sneakers and proper gym attire; deodorant – please do not send body sprays
- due to severe allergies to strong scents
- French – French/English dictionary (Harrap, LaRousse, and Robert Collins are the best ones)
- Physics/Biology/Chemistry/ Environmental Science – Hilroy notebook for lab book.
- Culinary – $40 lab fee which is used to buy ingredients that students will use to cook with then consume.
- Skilled Trades – Students are expected to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants when in labs for safety.
**Individual subject teachers may require specific items for their courses – they will inform their students of these individual needs on the first day of the semester. Some high school courses require fees – these will be requested at the beginning of the course by the subject teacher.
Laptop Subsidy Program
A laptop or tablet is a required tool to support learning in grades 9 to 12. A financial assistance program is offered by the Department of Early Childhood Development to assist with purchasing a device.
